Our previous hoster continually caused problems, which we decided to endure. That is until a server update broke our old site.

Our Joomla 1.4 installation obviously could not cope with PHP 5.3. I found the cause of the problem, fixing it forced me to change dozens of core files. Updating the site to a new distribution would have essentially meant to start over.

We opted to use Drupal 7 instead of Joomla, since I maintain a Drupal site at work. Setting up this site took 10 Minutes plus another two hours to transfer the data from the old page. We're still using the default theme of the OpenFolio distribution until we decide what the new site is suppossed to look like.

We have also moved the site from a freehoster to a professional hosting service.
